Many of us spend a lot of time reflecting on possible scenarios and dialogues in our minds. However, I suggest you today, right now, think about what you would like to say to your interlocutor. Maybe you have questions you would like to ask, or you want to share your emotions, or perhaps you have other thoughts or ideas that you would like to discuss. Think about how this can be implemented now.
Often, we operate under the notion of “don’t fight battles that have already been fought,” assuming that revisiting a topic that was addressed a month ago is no longer pertinent. Nevertheless, if the matter continues to be of significance to you, it retains its importance, regardless of how much time has elapsed since it was last discussed.
Do not be afraid to approach someone and talk about what is important to you and what you would like to discuss. Gradually, you will begin to notice that each time you are getting better at expressing your thoughts and feelings in difficult situations. At first, you will notice this after a month, then after two weeks, then after a week, and so on. Eventually, you will begin to notice your emotions and thoughts during the dialogue itself, and will be able to adequately express them.
In this way, you will gradually come to the ability to speak beautifully at the moment, because if you think everything over in advance, this ability will never appear. But if you stimulate yourself to action, then over time you will be able to track your thoughts and emotions and express them at the right moment.
